Biz 417 is our bi-monthly business magazine that originated from a feature titled "Generation Next" in the July 2014 issue of our flagship publication, 417 Magazine. This feature highlighted the next generation of business leaders in many locally-owned businesses. The positive feedback we received from that issue revealed a strong demand for these stories in our community, leading to the creation of Biz 417, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025.

Ladies Who Launch
Biz 417’s Ladies Who Launch is a year-long initiative featuring a monthly e-newsletter and a women’s leadership conference in July, attended by more than 600 women. The event offers inspiration, empowerment, education and actionable takeaways. In 2025, we are excited to present both the classic half-day event and a new, fully loaded ticket option. This exclusive retreat-style package includes an opening reception, a morning experience, two "Rise and Shine" workshops, and more. Remark/Able
Biz 417 wants to see more women share their stories and lessons with others through public speaking opportunities. Through a six-week training program, Biz 417 can help women choose and clarify a shareable message, develop it into a compelling and impactful talk and learn how to confidently share it with others. The ultimate goal is to raise the confidence and visibility of local women who could speak at local and regional events and within their own industry groups and conferences.
The Legacy Network
Biz 417 is proud to announce The Legacy Network–a program designed to enhance participants’ leadership skills, expand their network and amplify their influence to craft a lasting legacy. Hosted at Drury University, this professional development program includes six half-day sessions. Biz 417 is bringing together some of the brightest minds and subject matter experts in our region to develop curated programming, offer unparalleled access to mentors and foster connections with a peer network.
