CellARide has been a pioneer in the automotive marketing technology space and has been creating innovative solutions for nearly 10 years in Springfield. The initial products CellARide created were vehicle shopper focused and over time have been adapted based on the evolution of the automotive industry. Most recently, this includes safety recalls. “Recalls, like the Takata airbags, have become a major pain point for automakers,” says Founder Josh Holstein. The company developed the MyCarRecall Concierge Platform, which provides vehicle owners with a simple way to verify if they have an active recall, where the closest dealership is and how to get their vehicle repaired. “This innovation has also afforded us opportunities to work with Fortune 100 companies, which has brought national attention to CellARide and the startup tech community here in 417-land,” Holstein says. In March 2020, CellARide collaborated for a first-of-its-kind Vehicle Recall Concierge Platform as part of the National Safety Council’s Check to Protect safety initiative. The platform simplifies the recall repair process, enabling consumers to identify and stay up-to-date on vehicle safety recalls via text message through MyCarRecall. A concierge can use a photo of the driver’s license plate to verify the user’s recall status, find the closest dealership and explain how to get their vehicle repaired. “Our team is very agile and is made up of outside-the-box thinkers,” Holstein says. “We pride ourselves on the ability to adapt our technology and create custom solutions for specific needs our clients have.”
